Neil Losin

Neil Losin is a biologist, photographer, and filmmaker based in Miami, Florida. Neil earned his Ph.D. in evolutionary ecology in 2012 from UCLA and co-founded Day’s Edge Productions with Nate Dappen the same year. Together, they have produced many award-winning documentaries about science, nature, conservation, and adventure for web and broadcast.
Morgan Heim
Director
With a background in zoology (BS) and environmental journalism (MA), Heim is also an Associate Fellow with the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP), on the board of the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) and alum of the prestigious Missouri Photo Workshop. Heim has been working as a full-time Producer for Day’s Edge Productions since January, 2015.
Clay Bolt
Producer / Writer
Clay Bolt, a natural history and conservation photographer, specializes in macro photography with an emphasis on invertebrates, reptiles and amphibians. He's an Associate Fellow in the International League of Conservation Photographers (iLCP), president-elect of the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA), and co-founder (2009) of Meet Your Neighbours. His current focus is on North America's native bees and the important roles they play in our lives. In 2015, Clay moved to Bozeman, Montana to take on the position of communications lead for WWF's Northern Great Plains Program.
Nathan Dappen
Producer
A biologist, award-winning photographer and filmmaker, Dappen earned his Ph.D. in evolution and ecology from the University of Miami in 2012. He co-founded Day's Edge Productions with Neil Losin in 2012 and continues to collaborate with scientists on science and media projects both here in the United States and abroad.
